El Mariachi Loco - Tulum

The food is great, and a lot. Be careful ordering appetizers as the large can be really big (large shrimp cocktail was about 3-4 cups). Service was fast and friendly. Tequila was reasonable price, but they only had Tecate light beer. In terms of atmosphere, we were there in the afternoon and it was quiet, which suited us fine. Decor celebrated Pancho Villa and was a bit Mexico kitch, but overall all was good.

This is a great place, though no Toilet seats? Shows total disdain for the customers, there not expensive. It’s not enough to have good food, which it was, good. Atmosphere was pretty good to, good not great. Though we’re not coming back, buy a few toilet seats for christ sakes. Treat your customers like they mean something. Not like ya haven’t been told. The two waiters I’d talked to had said they have brought it up for at least a year. We be had the butter n garlic fish, yummy.

The chicken tacos are very good, my spouse was even impressed which is rare with cuisine different than what he is used to in the US. Very lovely atmosphere. Only complaint isn’t even their fault but very pushy street vendor bothered us relentlessly at our dining table I had to be aggressively firm that we would not buy her bracelets.
