Mariscos El Playon - Tulum

Mariscos El Playon is a little food stand/truck serving AMAZING shrimp and seafood tacos and other assorted items. I discovered this place while my girlfriend was waiting in line to put our name down for Hartwood. I biked up the road and found this seafood/taco stand. The guy running it was super nice. He did not speak much english and I dont speak much spanish but we made it work.The shrimp tacos were amazing. His batter is incredible. The limade is also great.

If in tulum, do not skip this boring experience! unconventional, original and subsiw. el cangrejo mudo is the best cevicheria around. aguachiles, ceviche and kick as tuna tostadas are some of the many options that yo find on this outstanding hidden gem. next to the lobby of coco hostal you will find this exquisite tiny little bar. to complete the experience, david (also known as cangrejo alfa) it is an expert for the craft micheladas and ojos rojos. if this is not enough, this place is friendly! I drive up the street and found this seafood/taco...stand the guy who ran it was super nice. he didn't speak much English and I don't speak much Spanish, but we did. the shrimp tacos were amazing. his battery is incredible. the limade is also great.
