Mike's Bbq House - Tupelo

Mike's BBQ House offers great food, friendly employees, easy parking and is family friendly. The menu offers great value and large helpings for the price my photo of the pulled pork BBQ plate shows only half the fried okra that they served me! Mike, the owner, is also the head chef and serves up a warm smile if you can get him away from the kitchen for a minute. HIGHLY recommended!

We ordered ribs, pulled pork, and pulled chicken, along with beans and coleslaw. The dry-rubbed ribs at Mike's are outstanding; the pulled chicken was juicy and flavorful, and the pulled pork was very tasty as well. The seasoning on the ribs is perfectly balanced, smoky with a hint of heat, making the mop sauce almost unnecessary. However, we did try the homemade sauce, which was delicious, on the chicken and pulled pork. You definitely get your money's worth of mouthwatering barbecue! As we were leaving, we noticed the parking lot filling up quickly. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and had enough leftovers to take home to make another meal with corn on the cob for the next day! Just a heads up, make sure to arrive early since they close at 7:00 PM and are closed on weekends.

We discovered this restaurant two years ago and were impressed by how delicious it was. We found ourselves back in Tupelo today, and it's just as great as we remembered. The ribs, baked beans, okra, and coleslaw are all fantastic. I absolutely love it!

The staff is exceptionally friendly, and you'll leave feeling full and satisfied after your meal. It's a wonderful place to visit!
