Our server was very friendly and the dining room was beautiful. Note- the rooftop patio is only open on weekends. We were disappointed that we couldn't sit up there but we were actually grateful to sit in the AC. The Tupelo Honey cocktail was sweet and refreshing and my boyfriend enjoyed the Tobacco old fashioned. The oysters on the half shell we had for starters were also fresh and very tasty. However, those were the best aspect of the meal. As we were deciding on what to order, a lady sitting next to me leaned in and told us to not order the oyster salad. She said that hers was awful. So, taking her advice we ordered the duck confit egg rolls and cups of she crab soup. The egg rolls were disappointing because of how dry they were. The meat would've benefitted from having some sauce on the inside of the roll rather than the outside. The she crab soup was nice but could've been served more warmed up. Our entrees were the most disappointing part of the meal. I ordered the steak frites and boyfriend got the 14 oz ribeye. The entrees took a long time to arrive to the table and both steaks were very overcooked. We sent the ribeye back and when it came back out about 30 minutes later, it was almost raw. We just boxed it up to take home to cook ourselves. I think how a restaurant handles cooking a steak should be an indication on how good the chef is and this was not a good indication. Other notes, I thought it was odd that the menu was presented as seasonal but they serve over roasted, fall root vegetables as their sides. There was no seasonal summer dish. Overall, beautiful atmosphere and great staff but the food was very disappointing.
Amazing food, atmosphere and the BEST customer service!
Just attended a special event there and I cannot say enough about how wonderful my experience was. The restaurant was beautiful, food delicious and the service was outstanding!!!
The staff and food was great! They made our special time so memorable. I can not say enough about Lee and his staff there.
Park Heights is a special place for us. We were married on the upper deck and always enjoyed returning to the restaurant. The ambiance is elegant and comfortable. Service is always very good. The menu offers unique sophisticated options not easily found elsewhere in town. My steak frites last night was perfectly prepared, although a little heavy on the homemade sauce. My husband's salmon also was good but also heavy on the sauce. Despite this, the meal was very good and we enjoyed it. Park Heights is always a good choice.
