Really impressed with the service and food at the Hare Copper. A different experience for us doing the shared platters. We really enjoyed it! Super friendly staff and our food came out really fast. Highly recommend especially if you are visiting Turangi and want a good experience Meal type: Dinner Price per person: NZ$100+

We are visiting from the UK and thought the restaurant would be good from the views I read . However the service was extremely slow eg food was brought out at different times , garlic bread starter was brought out as a main . I was told I needed to order another main so I ordered a beetroot salad with a tiny amount of feta cheese which came out 15 mins after my main course . No apology! I then said it was too late and was told to keep as a takeaway . Children ordered deserts again all came out at different times . One desert they had to put in a take away box as too late . No apology’s at all . Charged full price $200 3 kids meals and 1 adult . Felt I was not taken seriously as I am a tourist . Children has to wait ages . No apologies at all .and no attempt to fix or resolve. A real rip off
