The service was quick and the staff was excellent. We decided to make the hour-long drive from Brantford after hearing from friends about how much they enjoyed dining here. The Bedford family.
I am hesitant about recommending this restaurant due to the poor treatment we received from the staff upon leaving. We were unable to speak with the owners, and the young manager we encountered was very rude, insisting that we leave the premises immediately.
We arrived at the restaurant with one of our group members holding an ice cream cone purchased for enjoying on the beach. We had full intentions of ordering food and drinks, but the host asked our friend to sit outside because they couldn't bring food from outside the establishment. When I requested to speak to a manager, a young waitress appeared and informed us that we had to leave the premises or she would call the police. I asked to speak to the owner, but she insisted they were not available to speak with us. As regular travelers who dine out frequently, I must say that this was the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. Stay away from this place!
4 of us went to an early dinner, restaurant completely empty with television bubbles. the waitress brought only 2 menus, even after being asked several times for more menus. plastic knives and forks that are stuffed on the table, without worry about contamination. ordered fishtacos, came. with thick teig that was soggy and greasy, very little fish. one of the party seemed to enjoy the burger, should have with price over $18 for a burger. the waitress never came by to check if everything was in order. had to ask for more serviettes than eating so greasy. will never return completely disgusting.
Good food, good view. Beach was packed so zero parking across the street from the restaurant at the beach lot. Our visit was great until the hostess came out to see us off as we we're gearing up for our motorcycle. This area is staff...parking' she says and then leaves Can I raise my middle finger here? There were motorcycles there when we arrived and 5 pulled in as we left. NO staff parking signs, and btw, if you want customers, they need a place to park. And...every other beach restaurant always has motorcycle parking because...wait for it... motorcycles always tour to the beach (and spend money at the pub). Not sure if I'd go back, there's too many other awesome options on the Lake Erie beach front. But yeah, the food was good.
