Orikedon Taverna - Turku

Let me start by saying. My friend who frequents this place, always mentioned that food here lasts him for two-three days. He mentioned it more than once and I never really bothered with him, thinking it was just an exaggeration. I visited, on my trip to Turku and ordered kebab and fries and my friend ordered the kebab. The portion sizes were HUGE. MASSIVE. MY jaw dropped when the plates of food came to our table. I did not expect it. As someone who eats everything on one sitting I knew IMMEDIATELY that had to carry some home. Sometimes when restaurants have one thing they’re known for, for example, large portion sizes they tend to rely on that one thing and let important things like taste slip. Happy to say that wasn’t the case. The food tasted good, the price was reasonable, the service was fantastic and on another trip to Finland, I would definitely revisit

This place used to have a great reputation, but now it is average kebab that is a bit expensive. Regardless, it is easy to go here by car and the atmosphere is nice. I would not recommend the kebab meat, since it is poor quality. The chicken döner is better imo.

From all of the kebab i ate Oriketo has the best. The place is clean. The service is great. I show up, they allready know what i eat. Kebab ranskalaisilla, Keskivahva, Paprikakastike and take the drink from the soda stream. Enjoy

The food was so delicious, the portion size was bigger than expected. reasonable prices. good behaviour of perssonels. A homey cozy style. do not expect a modern decoration.

Enormous portions of good kebab and a selection of other food, too. Good service and plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. The hot sauce on kebabs isn 't, really, but that 's a problem common to most establishments in Finland so won 't deduct too many points for that.
