Mundo's Latin Grill Cantina - Turlock

We had a family dinner here to celebrate my father's 69th birthday. He thoroughly enjoyed his meal, but my husband and I were not as impressed. My dish lacked flavor and my husband's torta was very hard. We might give this place another try in the future, although it might not be for a while.

Although it is no longer a new restaurant, it is new to its current location, situated over the parking lot from its original spot. I don't miss the empanadas from their previous menu, but I am thoroughly impressed with their Italian-Latin fusion dishes, especially the Baja chicken pasta. The food is incredibly fresh and aromatic. The staff also went above and beyond during our visit, even accommodating a change in our order after receiving our appetizers.

I tried the shrimp burrito with green sauce, and let me tell you, that burrito is huge! I was only able to finish half of it and ended up taking the rest home, but it was delicious.

Eating is great. but the service is terrible. we were there at 18:30 and ordered a glass of wine before our meal. they told us that they would have to make sure that their person who fills drinking drinks actually pours a glass of wine. we got our wee, but then ordered a second glass and was told that no one was 21 years old so that they could not serve any alcohol. it is really sad that this restaurant that has served great food for several years offers a terrible service. we will not be back!

This was the first restaurant I went to as a baby. I have always loved their food and its still amazing even at their new location. Customer Service is the best! I would definitely recommend
