Teriyaki Number 1 Express - Turlock

My family has been eating here for years. Its one of the first places i typically get food from when im in town from out of state.

I don't understand the negative reviews; my experience was fantastic! The food was delicious and cooked to perfection. I also tried the sushi, which was an excellent value for the price. I will definitely be coming back!

Oh man, I can't wait to share my favorite food place with you! The restaurant is called Teriyaki Number 1 Express, but we affectionately refer to it as "Katie's," named after the wonderful lady at the front who takes our orders and answers the phone. If you're feeling down and in need of something quick and warm, this is the perfect spot. The double chicken bowl with extra sauce is absolutely delicious! Everything on the menu is fantastic; I've tried various sushi rolls, and they were all amazing. The chow mein has the ideal springy texture—definitely not spongy! If it's your first time visiting, just a heads up: the parking lot to the north is a bit small. I recommend calling ahead; it's faster than McDonald's and more affordable too!
