Central Mesa - Tuscaloosa

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The bartender was friendly, although not very talkative. The dirty martini I ordered was excellent, and the jalapeño margarita was also very tasty. However, I found that my food was slightly undercooked. The ambiance of the restaurant was lovely and had a relaxing vibe. I would definitely come back again in the future.

It took a long time to get drinks at the bar, but I believe it was because the bartender was new. The food was fantastic and had a spicy flavor. I ordered the rice bowl, and the fish filet was cooked perfectly. The salsa was also delicious. The portions were filling. The margaritas were also great!

I received a gift card and decided to try a new restaurant for dinner to treat myself. The presentation of the meal was good, but the quality did not match the high price. Despite this, I did not complain as I was using a gift card. However, to my surprise, the restaurant refused to accept their own gift card. It turns out there is a new owner, although the name of the restaurant remains the same. There were no notices posted informing customers that gift cards were no longer valid. This was extremely disappointing as the sole reason I dined there was to use the $50 gift card that someone had purchased. It is unacceptable that the restaurant would profit from the sale of gift cards and then refuse to honor them.

We had no wait at all on a Sunday summer afternoon. I had the Huevos Rancheros and my husband had the Hot Chicken and Waffle. They were only serving brunch when we went. The waitress did a good job of making sure there was no cilantro in my food which I asked for. She even had them bring me potatoes instead of rice when she realized they put cilantro in the rice. We did run out of water and have to wait a little while for more and the portions were a little smaller thanexpected, but overall a good experience.

My coworkers and I went there on a work trip and every one of us liked what we got. The best part was the three types of salsa we got for happy hour and the drinks. But the food was amazing! Definitely getting the Mahi bowl next time.
