Claro's Italian Market - Tustin

Love everything about this place, except waiting. Pro Tip: Skip the super long COLD sandwich line in the Deli area. Directions to the usually shorter line to pay and order a hot sandwich there.

I had to pamper the Hubz this weekend; when the afternoon golf was booked, I went to Tustin to visit Carlos for a deli sandwich for a mid-hole snack. With 6 locations in and around California, they have made a pretty impression; with years of experience and a number of faithful males to what a bracket they are. A Saturday arrived, there was quite a lot around the Deli Area. Like the work of the clock, people came in and grabbed a ticket while they went cautiously to the side as they were waiting for their number. The market itself had all your Italian cooking essentials. Loading pasta and pasta sauces, a glass counter filled with bread and pastries, not to mention the proud Italian sweaters and T-shirts stacked on the side for novelty? The sandwiches, I have the grand grand grandpa Joe and the Angry Joe, both for $11. These were HEAVY Subs, they were also packed with fillings. When they both have similar fillings, one was spicy and one was mild. Both Hubz and I could honestly say that this was probably our favorite Italian sub ever. We could not recommend this place enough! The portion and price ratio is so much, and service was friendly and efficient. You will certainly come a waiting period with the crowd of people and from this place as well! Note! If you check in on Yelp, you will receive a voucher for a free pop with a sub. All kinds of delicious old world goodies. Small slice of Italy in Tustin. The sandwiches are of course the right star, but you can also find really nice olive oil, cheese, wine, tomatoes, etc. for entertaining or your next dinner.

A highly recommended experience! They make their own sausage and baked goods! Beads, cookies, cakes and pastries! Hungry? Try their lasagna or other heavenly delicious meals! If you don't stop here, you're sorry you missed!

Very nice Italian market. They have a deli with a lot of produce as well as a whole section with pizza ingredients. The bakery has very good bread and sweets. The hot food is amazing as well. Will definitely be back to try their sandwiches.
