I went out looking for authentic Mexican food and I think I found it. I was definitely the only person in the place where English was my first language. Nothing fancy, but the food was very good.I got a trio of street tacos (carne asada, pollo, and El Pastor). They gave the option of regular tortillas or hand made , so of course I asked for the hand made ones. I also asked for the on house hot sauces and got the Salsa Verde with a basket of tortilla chips. They were out of the red variety today. 3 tacos and a Pineapple Jarritos was about $13, so price was reasonable. The gentleman that came to the register and the lady that brought out my food were very nice. Obviously there is no lack of Mexican places to dine in Santa Ana, but if you 're looking for no-frills authentic food, give it a try!
Delicious food here and staff very friendly I recommend the sope and the carne asadaFood: 5/5
We had a very pleasant dinner. The owner was very helpful with explaining the different options to my colleagues from Singapore. The food was quite tasty, especially the homemade tortillas and the salsa. When we were leaving he didn't charge us for our drinks since that day he had found his lost dog. Really sweet.
Best mariscos, camarones a la diabala is actually spicy unlike most places. this place is the gold standard.
