It's kind of different, though some restaurants that have selected the KISS (for the simple, stupid) method (think chicken strips or burger chains). I thought there was enough rice to mix and eat. The traditional one was a bit sharp for me. Like all spicy dishes, get used to it or you cry through it. Don't worry. Medium wasn't so extreme. I'm sure I'm back!
Wow, their food is incredible! They seem to sell almost everything for lunch. It's not their fault that they're busy and just getting started. They limit their lunch orders to manage dinner service better. We arrived at 12:15 and didn’t have to wait. They processed eight orders after ours. I tried both the regular and the authentic versions. The main difference is that the authentic has more Serrano paprika and ginger. I enjoy spicy food, but I needed to set aside some of the paprika to handle the authentic dish. The spicy version was topped with red paprika. The sauce is fantastic, and the chicken is so tender it just melts in your mouth. It's true comfort food that you can’t miss!
The food was enjoyable. I especially liked the spicy version, while the authentic one was a bit too fatty for my taste. The restaurant was nice and clean, with a casual and bright atmosphere filled with many tables. The portions were quite large, but they provide takeout boxes if you need them. There was a lot of ginger in the dishes, so be mindful if you're not a fan. There isn't a wide selection of other options on the menu, so you might either love it or hate it.
How can anyone give this less than 5 stars? It’s both quick and traditional at the same time. Occasionally, the sauce varies in consistency; sometimes it's thicker, sometimes thinner. On a chilly day, this is our go-to spot for a delicious lunch.
