Ordered brisket and pulled pork and a few sides. Both were excellent! If BBQ isn?t your thing, there?s 3 other restaurants inside. Pizza, American food, creamery and craft beer bar and coffee cafe. Give it try. I think you?ll like it! ????
I have eaten here several times and it is very hit or miss on the quality. I have not had great BBQ here but once the brisket was fairly decent, it?s just usually a little dry. The last time I ate here the brisket was so bad we had to throw half of it away because it was hard as a rock. In this image I added, those pieces are rock solid and had to be thrown away and almost every piece was the same way. I assume that this place only stays in business with this kind of BBQ because there just aren?t many options in town.
The service was awful and incredibly off putting by how rude and careless they were. I would not return for this reason alone. The price for the 2 meat/2 side platter is definitely overpriced and the quality and amount is not worth $30 (the sides are all low cost and small, if should not cost that much). The coleslaw, fries, fry sauce, cornbread were all good sides. The sliced bread was pointless, not even toasted. The Mac and cheese was not good I took one bite and didn?t want the rest. Not enough BBQ sauce and I wish there were different sauce options included. The brisket was really good, tender and had a great crispy outside. The pork was good, had a nice crisp outside but was a bit dry.
The food here used to be amazing back when it was at their old location in the little building. But now, the quality has gone done for the price your paying. We bought the brisket nachos and 10 wings from them last night. The nacho cheese was cold and congealed together ???? the brisket meat was cold and very hard to chew. Now the wings, no flavor at all. We ordered 5 Buffalo and 5 Parmesan garlic. The Buffalo tasted like it was just tossed in tabasco sauce and the Parmesan garlic tasted heavily of salt, no Parmesan or garlic flavor at all. We were giving it another try after the last 3 times of giving them another try over the past 4 months. The quality or care for their food just isn?t there anymore.
This place is yum!! Decent variety on the menu and fair sized portions. I enjoyed everything I got while my moms burger buns were very burnt (I had seen another review say this as well, so maybe its what they do? but overall the atmosphere had plenty of comfortable seating and had very friendly staff. Would eat here again!
