Bernie's Tybee - Tybee Island

Seafood nachos are for to die! huge portions, plate is size xl pizza and many garnels. reasonable prices. will definitely go back. even after more than half of the food I had too many to put in container.

I had seafood afteros. not even edible. I should have a lobster bisque for sauce. tried like cold mayonnaise. yuk. husband had fried garnelen. shrimp was pretty good. cole Slav is not edible.

There is nothing fancy about Bernie's, or really Tybee Island in general, which is why we love it! We ate at Bernie's twice this trip and the food was really good. Downside is it isn't near the water/doesn't have a great view or much outdoor seating (and they weren't able to handle having the outdoor area open to dine), but the oysters we had were fresher than a more upscale restaurant on the island and their fried meals were done right, ample amount and tasty! Both the bartender and the server were beyond sweet; took the time to visit and were just delightful. Give it a try!

Very good food and bar. Great atmosphere and jello shots with pop rocks yummy. Right on the main drag of shops. Outstanding place. Service was great. Crab bites off the charts. Go here anytime. Also oysters are on point.
