The owner is an incredibly friendly guy! The wings here are the best on the island! Don't miss out on the onion rings—they're a must-try too. Thank you!
However, the prices are higher than I expected for a place like this, and they've increased significantly over the past three years according to other menus I’ve seen online. But if you're looking for a great burger, this place is worth it. We visited early, so it wasn't crowded, and I even saw someone come in with kids, which suggests it’s a family-friendly spot. I'd definitely come back.
Meanwhile, the table next to us joked about their wings being voted the best on Tybee, claiming it was only because there were no other options. After sitting for around 20 minutes without service, we decided to leave. If you own a business, it’s essential to ensure your employees greet customers—or do it yourself. I appreciate a relaxed island vibe, but there’s a difference between being laid-back and failing to run a business properly. Unfortunately, we won’t be coming back.
This might be my favorite bar on Tybee Island, though I should mention it's the only one I've been to. It's quite a dive bar, but it has dartboards and some really good pub food. Plus, smoking is permitted here later in the evening. It reminds me a lot of the places I visit in Atlanta, like MO's and Joe's, Rusty Nail, Tin Roof, and Black Bear.
