Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

The service was attentive, and I had a delicious lunch featuring turkey and dressing, cranberry sauce, roasted turkey breast, rolls, and cornbread. This meal really put me in the mood for the last Thursday of November. I'll definitely make a stop on my way back to NRH, TX, to try one of their breakfast dishes.

I had the biscuits and gravy, but unfortunately, the biscuits were undercooked and had a doughy texture, while the gravy lacked flavor. Given that this is the South, I expected better when it comes to biscuits and gravy. On the other hand, my wife enjoyed the chicken tenders, which were delicious. The service, however, was excellent.

I had an excellent experience at this restaurant. I didn't have to wait at all to be seated, and the service was outstanding. The food was fantastic; the manager even made the rounds to ensure all guests were satisfied. I enjoyed a refreshing peach tea, and my chicken fried chicken was incredibly juicy. The beans and mac and cheese were absolutely delicious, and the bacon was perfectly crisp. Both the cornbread and biscuits were delightful, and the hash browns were simply amazing. It was a great brunch overall!

The server was incredibly friendly and attentive—we didn't have to ask for anything! The food, however, was just average. I ordered a chicken breast dish that came with sauce and bacon, but it was a bit dry and overly salted, lacking in flavor. The ranch dressing tasted like it came from a cheap store-bought container; we all know what good ranch should taste like, and theirs definitely doesn't fit the bill. On a positive note, the restaurant appeared clean, and it was nice to stroll around after dinner. We might consider coming back, especially since I've heard great things about their breakfast.

Great restaurant with friendly staff and delicious food! I highly recommend it to everyone. Kids are welcome throughout the day!
