Contribuisci feedback.I only discovered Dog Tags because of a Groupon. We'd never been and decided to give it a try. Outside of the Groupon, one of the main reasons we decided on this place was the fact that it is military owned and the menu is centered around military lingo. Just at a glance, I was already intrigued. The beer selection is quite extensive! It'd take quite a few visits to try them all. I would love to see some wine selections in the future, but not everyone pairs wine with burgers ?Our server was extremely friendly and relatable. She was patient with us when we kept asking questions, changing our minds mid-sentence and didn't have a clue what we were doing. She was attentive to refills and just as attentive to my 2 year old grandson who wants to talk to everyone and ask what they're doing, where they're going and why!The fried pickles are different from any restaurant I've ever had them at. I actually liked them here. I don't know if it's because they aren't the big spears or if the flavor is different, but I really liked them! They have fresh pork rinds; the ones with the spice on them were my favorite. Wish they had some sea salt and vinegar to put on them; but, probably better that they didn't. All the weight I lost last year may have come back. The food was really good. I ordered the hot dogs (I can't remember the menu name , with the beer cheese and added chili. It said it was a foot-long, but I was so relieved that it came out on 2 buns! That thing is plump and full and with the chili and cheese, there was no way I could finish them both. The fries are so unique. It's like curly fries meets steak fries; seasoned and twisted and thick. Really good. I couldn't eat all of those, either. I have an air fryer, so reheating these gave me a second (complete meal, just as good as the first time around (3 minutes at 300° .So, THEN, we discovered the dessert. Caramel Apple and COTTON CANDY cheesecakes. The caramel apple had a balance of sweet and tart and was really good. I probably would have like it more had they not had Cotton Candy. Cheesecake that tastes EXACTLY like Cotton Candy? WTH? How is that even possible? I don't even really like cheesecake and I need to go back to Tyler and get a whole one. I don't even care about the weight I'm trying to keep off. I'll take ALL OF THE CHEESECAKES (Cotton Candy, please .Apparently, they have live music on Fridays and Saturdays. I'd definitely go out there to listen, have a burger and a beer! If you haven't been, yet. Go!
Visited two weeks ago based on great reviews and because it was veteran owned. We came at lunch since we don't typically do the bar scene. Loved how it was decorated and had a hard time choosing what to eat because it all sounded good. Got the B1 Bomber and Scud Missile Ripper. Both were good, but both of us agreed the Scud Missile was the best. The lunch time service was lacking and is hopefully better at night. The waitress was not friendly the least bit. She was the only server that day and we remained patient but she couldn't summon a smile. The sodas were watery but we still could not get her to come by and give us refills.I would give the food a 4 stars and service a 2. Might be better at night since they are a bar.
Really great place. Beer was great, but the full battle rattle burger was the best burger I've ever had. Atmosphere is great as is the staff

Came upon recommendation. Burger was delicious, beer cold, waitress was attentive. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves and would come back. 3 stars instead of 4 because: dart game was broke (we came to eat and play darts and pool , no talcum powder station for pool, (even a small baby powder kept behind bar and available upon request would have been nice! , AND I wanted to like the ample serving of wedge fries sprinkled with paprika but I just didn 't and I 'm a lover of ALL fries. They need to rethink these. Also the ranch- love me some ranch but this wasn 't the good kind and ranch lovers know what I 'm talking about! Also I failed to mention pool table was in GREAT shape and we did enjoy the atmosphere.
