El Charro On The Ridge - Tyler

This place is ok. This is my first time being here because I have a friend who again said it was good. So I got the enchilada lunch and my wife got the only vegan thing there with no cheese. She said she liked it which was awesome. I was really hungryso I had about three orders of free chips and salsa. My dish was fine nothing wrong with it. The place was clean and theemployees were nice and handle our needs. The price was average but not to expensive. I would come back and try somethingeles.

The food here is absolutely delicious. But don't order to go I waited 45 minutes and nobody would help me by the time I got home my food was cold because it had been made to hours prior. Seems kind of an organized. But again the food is delicious.

For two years. to this day has never been despised in the food. the chicken fried steak ordered and my gott had no taste, the heavy was so bland. no taste. the only good thought was the kartoffels with which it comes. the waiter asked me what kind of salat dressing I wanted to tell him and never get the salat. use to make my food. no more.

The restaurant is clean and pretty and we have always had good service. It's just.... the food is not good at all. One of my friends really likes this place so I get dragged here quite a bit and I make it a point to try something different in hopes I'll like it better than the last thing I got, but I never do. The meat is always very bland. The rice and beans are okay, I guess I'll just stick to rice and beans the next time my friend makes me go.

Very disappointing, food is bland and really lacking the Mexican flair. Service was good but cant make up for ordering a salad with no tomatoes and getting a plate of lettuce and a packet of Hidden Valley. For the prices your paying at El Charro, I really expect more for your dollar. Ordered beef fajitas and got two small tortillas with a couple strips of beef and a couple peppers and onions and served with rice and beans... and that's it!
