Ruffo's Kitchen Fresh Mex - Tyler

We ended up here by a pleasant accident, and I'm so glad we did. I follow a low-carb diet and ordered the taco salad, but only took a small taste of the shell, which was fantastic. I chose chicken as the meat, and it was delicious—fresh and hearty. I will definitely return. The staff was friendly and made sure everything was perfect.

I hadn't planned on eating, but when I arrived at the airport gate, it was closed. This airport is quite small, and the gate didn’t open until just before boarding time. I noticed a small café and, even though I wasn't very hungry, I decided to check out the menu. The daily special was three tacos. I asked the friendly man behind the counter if it would be possible to order just one taco. He threw up his arms and exclaimed, "This is America; anything is possible! Bring the lady a taco!" It turned out to be the best taco I’ve ever had, making my day in Tyler, Texas, truly unforgettable. It also held a bittersweet resonance for me, as it reminded me of my recently deceased dad.

The food was fantastic! My husband and I are following a keto diet, so we skipped the tortillas and chips. We ordered nachos without the chips, and they were incredible—packed with plenty of meat and vegetables. Even if you're not traveling, this would still be an excellent place to dine.

Hurricane Kindness! After a long, difficult and hungry day flying out of New Orleans to avoid a hurricane, Ruffo's kitchen in the Tyler airport was a godsend. Great food and amazing personal attention! Thank you so much! And, YES, the food was phenomenal!

Great service! Who cares even if they are closed on Sundays so what! Their food is awesome and fresh! Biscuits and Gravy was on point. Went above and beyond to make sure you had everything you needed. Oh and they have breakfast all day! That's my kind of place yo
