Contribuisci feedbackOne of the largest hosts in Ubud so far. Everyone was super friendly and made the culinary experience wonderful. The furnishings, design and aesthetics are very opulent, but the place still creates a feeling of welcome and comfort. The menu is easy to navigate and the selection of foods is authentic and appropriate what you expect. We were very satisfied with the taste, but could have done with something more on the side of the crowd. The dessert we ordered has made miracles for one of us and take the other unimpressed as you want. We brought two free hors d'oeuvres, and we think they wanted to win us. They did.
Lovely friendly owners and staff. Quality ingredients, fresh avocado, real buffalo mozzarella. Excellent local Bali organic wine too.
Our favorite restaurant in Bali as couple. This is probably our favorite restaurant we tried in the world. They treat you like a royal. The food is not as we live in Mexico, it is so much better! The flavors are uniquely fantastic and every dish every time we have eaten here (we have tried most of the menu) was a pleasant surprise. We're trying to go at least a few times a month.
EXCELLENT FOOD in a BEAUTIFUL PLACE with GREAT ATMOSPHERE!!! This hidden jewel is really a must go!! The dishes and cocktails are fantastic, some of the best we ever had. To be honest, I usually don't like Mexican food so much. But I had no idea that Mexicans (or Balexikan, as I learned from the Mexican cook: dishes can be so delicious and not difficult at all!! The innovative food was super beautifully presented and tasted just excellent. We loved the Tacos!! But also the nets were brilliant.. I had “Starcrush Lovers” with shrimps and fresh herbs, my husband had a Sirloin Steak and a chocolate cake from heaven: I recommend it to everyone who likes delicious fresh food with very attentive service in a unique beautiful place with a great atmosphere. In addition, very cheap prices for very high quality!!
I travel to Bali for almost two decades. Every year I try new restaurants and locations. Friends told about this hidden place called VELVET in ubud, so we went there. We had afteros filled chicken and a fish meal. Honestl y i forgot the name, but I remember the taste. I know some Mexican restaurants around kuta, seminyak and canggu, but this is best. Great taste and attention to details. Very recommended.
