We just had a wonderful evening! Entries and delicious dishes, limoncello irreproachable and all with a welcome, service and wood fire you can no longer warm! We are delighted to have moved to this restaurant and will be back with pleasure!
From real home, 100% fresh, know-how in the plate. You will already be conquered by the intimate and warm setting of this restaurant installed in a house of the 1600s. We were welcomed by the chef and owner himself and his wife, who suggested an entrance to share (carpaccio de poutta) by bringing us home-made bread and marinated olives. After we went to the main dishes. Beef fillet with gorgonzola (with its home pasta accompaniment) and fagottini with pear and gorgonzola. Everything was excellent and the portions were very generous. House wine was also excellent. For dessert, don't miss the tiramisù house...
Back to the Loggia dei chevalieri we found everything that we had liked, good reception, good cuisine, really Italian, we will return there, that's certain.
I feel bad to give a negative assessment in these difficult times, but the feeling it is important to be honest. the waitress and the cook were very friendly, but eating was under par. the vinnnato vitello tasted as if the meat was not fresh, the scallops with truffle were very oily, the ravioli with artichoke was much too salty, the other there was “no offer”, so I guess our expectations for paying the full price were higher. the chef offered us a limoncello, which was a beautiful geste. the decor is beautiful, but the restaurant could use a facelift.
