Jagat Niwas Rooftop Restaurant

It was a big dilemma I choosing a dineout as it was a special occasion for me a regular complain which I have ready in all the forum for all the restaurants with a lake side view at Udaipur is about a discrimination in service for foreigners and Indians .So was bit tensed on my decision of choosing this joint for a dinner .Service wise it was good the server Rajender(If I am not wrong with the name)was really attentive . Selection of menu-U really don't have a wide variety of options and most of the items for no available may be due to the off season but it's lost of revenue for the Company's.But all together a awesome view which made our day .Alchol is relatively cheap.

We went for a birthday celebration and when we were about to cut the cake the manager asked if we had taken permission to bring cake prior, I was so much frustrated with this thing and the worst thing was they even not allowed us to cut that cake and eat there. To reach this place one has to think twice. The place is amazing with fine infrastructure and provides a beautiful view from the rooftop but with that kind of hospitality one will never want to visit the place again.

The ambiance and the view from the restaurant was pure beauty. We didn't order any food as we were in no mood so can't really review that. We just ordered cold coffee and it tasted yumm. Two best buds, two glass of cold coffee and an impeccable view was a perfect combination for sunday's eve. And one thing to be noted by everyone is that they start serving food after 7pm only but for drinks you can go anytime.

Awesome place for a ideal rooftop dinner in Udaipur with a great view of pichola lake. Good food with a great ambience and friendly staff. Its a rooftop restaurant of Jagat Niwas hotel where one can enjoy a peaceful dinner where taste and view justifies the price.

Amazing view... friendly staff... but food is average.. if you are hungry never order the mix kabab platters... its like a mini meal foṛ kids.. its tasty but not filling at all.. cheese naan is good.. lemon chicken is more douge than meat.. again feels like a mini meal.. certainly visit for drinks and few snacks..
