The decorations and everything looked really beautiful. Delicious food. We had ordered millet soup, Mewari Sev Tomato Sabji, Paneer Butter Masala , Naan, tandoori butter roti and my favourite Mom's Veg Biryani. On special demand they have made tawa roti for my nephew. Next comes the price, all the menu items are super reasonable. Overall we have a great experience, the staff is also extremely friendly and helpful. Thanks for this awesome experience and keep up the good work.
Yes!!!!!!!! Of course you are siting in the India’s top 6th number healthiest restaurant. It’s a hidden gem located near to sajjangarh palace and far from the main city. Interior and exterior is basic Rajasthani architecture and the restaurant cover mostly by the plants so you can feel that you are so closer to nature. Sitting arrangements good and many options.(outdoor sitting, indoor sitting, rooftop sitting). Staff is so nice and lovely in nature. They provide the best possible service and the sense of communication also good. Here, mostly all the items made by using millets. Even price also reasonable. I tried signature dishes like 1)Blue mojito 2)vanilla ice cream mojito 3)millet chaat (made by using 30% potatoes,50% millets,20% vegetable and sauces) 4)Besan gatte ki sabji 5)Tanduri butter roti(Made by using Whole wheat)(Note-They don’t provide Chapati roti unless and only you’re aged or below 12 years and if you need Maida tanduri roti then go with naan) 6)buttermilk (Purely made by using curd) 7)Tomato soup (purely tomatoes and spices)(test is just yummy) 8)Masala papad 9)paneer tikka( tangy test) 10)Daal bati(4 pieces baati,1 churma ladu, lasan and red chilly chatni, kadhi ,dal and onion) we went for lunch and dinner. Chef take time to prepare food as the made most of the items from scratch. Enjoy your great company during that time. I never tried this kind of healthy and testiest food ever before.
The place is located just next to Sajjangarh monsoon place with rooftop view of this beautiful place amidst the Aravali hills. We went there for dinner thrice and each time they had delicious mouth watering dishes. They have tried to promote the local cereal millets and cook some amazing delicacies to devour on. We tried millet tikki, millet Biryani, millet khichadi, millet pizza, paneer butter masala with roti basket. They were super yummy, healthy and delicious. Service was quick and personalized to our taste.
Millets Of Mewar had been on my go to list for quite a while, mainly for its unique concept and the fact that it came under the top 10 Indian restaurants serving healthy food. Further, they also had plenty of vegan options which also made it a reason for our group to check out this interesting place. So last month, one afternoon, we made a plan to go to Millets Of Mewar for lunch. Coincidently, a few in the group had already dined there the previous night and given us rave reviews and so we couldn't just wait to try the stuff here. The place was reasonably empty when we reached there but within half an hour or so, almost all tables were occupied. We were told in advance that everything would be prepared fresh and hence service would be slow. As we were kind of prepared for this it didn't affect us much but for those looking to have a real quick meal here, it may be disappointing. On their recommendations to suit our groups taste and vegan requirement, we ordered for: 1. Millet Khichdi the best of all. Warm, filled with vegetables and healthy. Could have it again. 2. Millet wraps Good 3. Millet tikki these were excellent. The tikkis were super soft and topped with amaranth grains. These kind of tasted like ragda patties. 4. Vegan pizza This one was good too. Well baked, good crust, lots of vegatables and nice vegan white sauce to replace the Regular cheese. 5. Summer cooler Not Bad. 6. Pancakes with Vegan Nutella In contrast to the extra sweet chocolatey Nutella, this version of Nutella was made in house and beautifully spread on the soft warm pancakes. Delicious! (P. S. This was the only option in desserts for vegans) All in all, a pretty place with some very interesting food. Service could have been a little more warm and welcoming and of course, a little faster. Visiting this place is a little off the track for tourists (unless visiting the Sajjangarh Palace) but it's worth the travel and time if you are looking for something new to eat in Udaipur.
Loved this restaurant, nicely decorated, instagram worthy, but most important part is the food. Loved millet bhel and pizza of different base. Bought some millets from there and brought them home. Staff is good and supportive too as well as owner. Rooftop is nice to seat too. Must visit when in udaipur.
