The foods: the food are good and come huge portionsWe had steak, Caesar salad, bread, and cream brûléeThis is the biggest cream brûlée I've ever had.
First time in Ukiah, so just roamingStaying at the Hampton Inn next door, so an easy 100 steps to this establishment.
We were at The Hampton Inn next door. We thought we could just go over, so reservations. We called and sent a message, and she says they'll call you back in half an hour. No one ever, so we booked online. Very nice inside. Setting up is a little strange. If you go in there, there are tables and a guy playing a piano. The hostage is a little down. Odd. They're usually at the door. We were 15 minutes early, so we had to wait a few minutes. While waiting, an old guy (owner or manager? came and sneaked a few papers in one of the hostess face, screamed on them to repeat this, it's all wrong. I don't know what it was. But she was clearly embarrassed. He has to learn how to treat people and not do something like that before their customers and employees. Very rude! None of the drinks sounded great, so we got that. They bring bread with vinegar and oil. All right! The bread is like soft clouds. Not enough oil and vinegar. We wanted more. We have the fried ravioli for a starter. You were good. We didn't really care about the bread, but still they enjoyed it. came with Marinara for diving. I have the ribs. They were super tender. The Bbq sauce was super sweet. A little too sweet for my taste. But good. The poppy slave was okay. Very few poppy seeds and not much taste. Garlicries were good. Regular frits with a lump garlic on top. Could be better. Hubby has the two lobsters with a baked potato. He said it's the best lobster he had in a while. You forgot butter, so we had to ask. He asked for lemon he never got. They're vaccinated on the potatoes. We also have the Brussels sprouts with bacon. You were really good. A little hard. Could be cooked for longer. We took dessert. The butterscotch bread pudding that was so good! Yum! And the chocolate lava cake. Also super delicious. The atmosphere was beautiful. Our server was nice. No smile. She seemed stressed or overworked. Definitely tired. It is clear that management is bad here.
We have a chance of Crush a night on a business trip. I had a Sirloin Steak who was delicious, like my wife's salmon. They were with a zinfandel from Seebass Winery, which was really very good. Our waitress was very helpful and friendly. We'll be back when we visit Ukiah again.
