Stan's Maple Cafe - Ukiah

I visited Windmill Cafe yesterday for a light lunch and ordered a steak sandwich to share with my husband, along with two milkshakes. When our sandwich arrived, we found that it included a large piece of gristle that made up about half of the meat. On my half, I received only a thin slice of actual steak, while my husband was luckier and managed to get at least half of his portion edible. I notified our server about the issue, and she spoke with her manager. When she returned, she told us that we would only be charged 50% of the sandwich's cost. However, when I went to pay, I discovered that the discount was actually only 15%. I was really frustrated at having to pay $12.95 for such a poor sandwich. I also felt bad for leaving without a tip, as it wasn't the server's fault, but I was so upset. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning to Windmill Cafe again.
