I recently discovered that they also serve cake, including chocolate fudge and carrot cake. Despite going in for breakfast (avocado and hummus on toasted ciabatta with roasted cherry tomatoes and pine nuts), I couldn't resist the chocolate cake! The restaurant has a wood fired pizza oven and offers vegan mozzarella. Although I usually prefer black coffee, they also have oat, soya, and almond milk. Located just a short walk from the main entrance to Umhlanga beach, it's a perfect spot for a meet-up once parkrun resumes. There is ample parking available on the road and in the Pearls mall car park.
My friends and I, who are not vegan, regularly meet at this restaurant because it offers a variety of vegan options for me and non-vegan options for them. I recently discovered that they also serve cakes, including chocolate wings and carrot cake. I went for breakfast and tried the avocado and hummus on roasted ciabatta with roasted cherry tomatoes and pine nuts, but they also have delicious chocolate cake. They have a wood-fired pizza oven and offer vegan mozzarella. I usually drink black coffee, but they also offer dairy, soy, and almond milk options. The restaurant is conveniently located just a few minutes' walk from the main entrance to Umhlanga Beach, making it a perfect spot to meet up once parkrun resumes. There are plenty of parking spaces available on the street and in the nearby shopping center, Pearls.
