Villa Thai - Umkirch

The restaurant is great. tasty eating, friendly service and formed over food allergies (in my case, they were very attentive the whole dinner around gluten for me.) highly recommended.

Spring rolls, red curry and sesam ice cream was very delicious. My friends who had Sushi were not all happy with it. The staff was very friendly but occasionally forgot to bring something (we were a group of 8). The price was ok, i paid €46 for my 3 course menu with a bottle of water, a lemongrass ice tea and a cappucino.

The service was very polite, but not intrusive. eating was very high quality and authentic Thai cuisine. I don't know about the Japanese kitchen, but they can watch how the sushi is made fresh by a profi. the prices are in the higher sector, but the great food is worth it.

We went to our jubilee and I must say it was the best japanese I had around these waters. sure it is an interesting environment, an old German restaurant with a terrace that is grown with wine and serves tasty looking thai and tasty tasting Japanese food. all thunfishes are here maguro, chutorro and torro tempura freaks out super and so was everything else we had. only what keeps me from being more regular is the price, but I can't expect to be back on something more of this quality.
