Fascinating scenery, great food (very British), super friendly and efficient staff! Anyone who writes something else is either badly informed (size of the room) or has strange ideas about the services of a 3-star hotel! I highly recommend it. The high-quality small hotel is perfectly located on the NC500 and is definitely worth a stop. From the unique view of the mountains and the water to the cosy rooms we had a wonderful stay. It is worth noting that the kitchen, which was a labsal for the serrated soul after the previous interstops. After dinner at the bar, pick up tips from the ladies who know each other in their home and are happy to help. And a pint can't hurt either.
