Clam chowder is the best we've had on our trip up the coast from California. It was tasty without the spice and large pieces of clams with less potatoes. The BLTA was very very tasty. It's a hidden gem in our eyes!
Took friends and family in for a couple scoops after dinner last night, as we often do since our favorite restaurant is across the street. The owner was visibly intoxicated and not welcoming. His speech was slurred and his eyes were telling. My five year old son saw the PINK cotton candy ice cream, and pointed to it immediately. The man shouted to him what are you!? A GIRL!!?! in front of many of his friends/family. He was embarrassed. It was mortifying. What a bully! I asked him to apologize to my young son for being so disrespectful and he mockingly relied... ummm I 'm sorry? Why does he care what color of ice cream he sells? Why does he think it 's appropriate to bully little kids at an ice cream store? I 'm so frustrated.
Enjoyed the prime rib dip. It did not disappoint. Fun little store with bakery perks!
We enjoyed a glass of wine across the street at the marina and then went in search of food. We could not pass-up the store sign offering prime rib sandwiches. Fun, funky store with beautiful baked goods and a small breakfast and sandwich menu. The owner was great fun and the sandwiches were absolutely delicious. We were surprised to see that they even offered gluten free bread, which was a nice option. Don't pass up the opportunity to stop and enjoy what they have to offer.
