My Southside Deli - Union City

Food is great, and fresh. The young girls at the register are horrible though, customer service needs improvement. Its unfortunate that they are Temp Closed....

Owner is very friendly, family/community oriented person, food is great prices are good!! get the bang for your buck here definitely will revisit! 5 stars 5 stars!!!

Definitely a hidden gem! EVERYTHING is so good! Get the Southside burger, chicken Philly, or a sandwich... all of them are amazing!

This place is so good. I stumbled upon it one night when I was going to Waffle House and they told me, at 8 pm mind you, that they would not be open until 9 pm But either way, I saw the open sign for Southside Deli and came in. Their prices are super affordable and the food is good! I LOVE their breakfast bowl with grits. I have only tried the salmon and turkey sausage but it's great. Another time I had a boars head sandwich on a potato bun and that was amazing as well as the onion rings. There is so much more on the menu that I want to try and I go at least once a week except on Sundays, since they are closed. The only thing is that the phone number online doesn't work but they did get a new one that's posted in stores as well as they have signs all over the doors to wear your mask upon entry but the workers don't have mask on, at least not the ones working the register so I can believe those that are cooking aren't either. Other than that, give them a try.

This place is near my house and it's adjacent to the gas station I frequent so I thought i'd give them a try but they can't fry wings. I've visited twice both times I asked for my wings to be fried crispy but both times they were so soft I wondered if they were even fried. It's a definite no for me especially if they can't even prepare the order the way I ask them to. The sauce on the wings was good but the way those wings were cooked just messed it up.
