Sonic Drive-in - Union City

This restaurant review criticizes the poor service at the establishment. The reviewer had a negative experience with the employees, who were more focused on their cell phones than their job duties. After receiving a cold hotdog and finding peppermints in their fry box and bag of fries, the reviewer does not recommend visiting this location and declares they will not be returning.

I used the mobile app to place my order and only had to wait a few minutes for my food. It was much more convenient than waiting in line. I really liked everything I ordered, including the soft pretzels and chili cheese coney. It was all delicious!

The Sonic drive-thru is actually really good, but I just miss when they would go faster. Nowadays when we get in line, we have to wait like 20 to 30 minutes before we even get up to the speaker to order our order. I think this Sonic just needs bettermanagement and better workers or just more workers all in all so that they can serve people quicker. But that's all. They fixthe food perfectly and I'm still somewhat satisfied since the workers are very respectful they always served us our mealswithout messing up our order too :

I placed a mobile order on the app and it took them over 30 minutes to prepare a simple order of mozzarella sticks and corn dogs. I don't understand the delay, but if it weren't for my daughter wanting and enjoying these items, I wouldn't have waited so long.

10:21 the time I pulled up to pickup my order and the entire sonic is closed employees sitting outside. Paid in advance. UPDATE: Drove back up there the next day with receipt as proof. I was told to go through app and get a refund and that they didn't haveshipment for churro shake (part of my order). We placed an order for something similar 3 PC tender dinner which is sides ofonion rings, tater tots and 1 toast. They forgot onion rings so I went back to explain she responded I didn't know the meal camewith it I'll go get it. Great I'm not making this up we sat for over 30 minutes and drive thru was busy but moving very slow andsomeone had to go to work. Toast was unedible, strips tasted like cooked in old oil and well never eating sonics again.
