I've been coming here for 7-8 years, and although I live quite far, I and my family still love the drinks and the popcorn chicken. But here is the thing that customer service is honestly quite terrible. Workers are usually rude and their mood is always clogged. I don't think I've had a good experience in customer service over the past 7 years. Update: The workers have been much more friendly lately and our drinks are incredibly fast prepared.
Here after dinner in Sama Uyghur next door we recommend Sama! Pretty standard Boba shop. Long line at 10 a.m., but it moved and wasn't long after we ordered maybe only bad timing for us. We separated the mango ice cream (they were from sesame). Forget the name, but it was about #270 on the menu! I couldn't believe how long the menu was. The ice was even better than we expected, tasted like real mango. We also had mango cubes, pudding and little jelly. But I was impressed by the ice cream. We sat outside the backyard, it was loud inside. Outside was cool and many people drove in loud, abandoned cars. It was fun watching people with their cars. Overall, pretty much what I expected. Ice very good, seating and environment only average. Bonus points for the only place open so late (we even tried to get cones and sit in Burger King, but they close at 10! . Tapiok Express was open til 1, they were still busy when we were at midnight (Saturday Night).
Oh, man! It's been 19 years since we've been here! This is the best tap ex in the area or maybe the Yay area... and is one of the spots we're going to in East Bay. Food and drinks are at the top!! Nicely cool now that they have a mini-arcade/claw machines.
The customer is bad and needs improvement. I usually order Thai iced tea and roasted Calamari.
