If it's character you are after then this is the place. It's a little isolated, but that wasn't a problem for my 1 night stay. Rooms are comfy and clean. The room tv is tiny, bit again not a problem. After a day of travelling me, my partner, sister in law her partner wanted to go somewhere nice for tea. When we arrived there was 1 vehicle on the car park so we wasn’t sure if the restaurant was open. We asked for a table of 4 and was told there wasn’t any room for us that it was bookings only, we could clearly see the restaurant was empty as there was only 2 gentlemen at the bar having a drink. I think the lady behind the bar, took one look at me my family realised we wasn’t from the area so we didn’t receive a friendly response. I won’t be coming here again wouldn’t recommend to anyone.
