Had dinner at the George. Very good meals and excellent table service. Beef Wellington was sensational, highly recommend. Book in advance for Friday Saturday as can get very busy. Desserts also tasty! Parking: Small carpark but street parking available. Very long wait for food. The staff were pleasant enough but we waited an hour and half for our food with young children. Lovely outside seating area and small play area for kids. When the food arrived it was delicious. Could do with some allergy friendly/more vegan options as the children with allergies in our party were incredibly limited in choice.
