Totally enjoyed meal, even if it was alittle too much, bus timetable alittle schechey so spoilt the end of our evening, taxi availability would have been handy, for us two knackered ladies, thanks Price per person: £30–40 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
Called up asking to book a table got told to just walk in as they will have tables available. We turned up to the pub and asked for a table and the girl at the bar just turned around and said you haven’t booked so no in a really rude matter. We explained that we called and got told to just walk in and she didn’t even try to fix the issue just looked at us and said well you haven’t got a booking or even offer if we wanted drinks. Great customer service : Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
A warm and friendly welcome awaits you in this original olde english pub large selection of light snacks or full blown meal times. the cheesecake should die! (and they do harveys bier also on caught)!
My pub of choice in, East Sussex, come here often. Good selection of beer (Camden Hells is the favourite) and excellent food (try their pies). Lots of good local seafood often on the specials menu if that's what you are into. Very friendly staff and excellent service.
