The ambiance felt more like a cozy home than a typical bar/restaurant, with its stripped down walls, flowers hanging from the ceiling, and laid-back atmosphere. We were a little unsure about their Sunday dinner, but on this particular visit, it was a huge hit! The menu featured just two items per course, but the portions were generous. We were also pleased to find out that they are dog-friendly, and our furry companions enjoyed their Sunday meal just as much as we did.
We dined here in December with a dinner reservation and preordered the Christmas menu. The food was fantastic and beautifully presented, with great aromas and generous portion sizes. The prices were a bit high but worth it for the quality. The food was so good that we couldn't resist ordering dessert. Since we had preordered, our food was served quickly and we even received free prosecco. The staff was friendly, chatty, and helpful. It's quieter mid-week, which I prefer, but some ladies come for cocktails and a chat. On Fridays and Saturdays, the place gets lively with a younger crowd. The cocktails are delicious and they offer interesting beer choices like spelt and beer from a London brewery. The vintage decor is unique and cozy. I can't recommend this place enough. Thank you for making our dinner so romantic!
The roast was cooked to perfection. The best potato dish! I was lucky to dine here. It was very crowded, but the friendly staff added to our overall enjoyment. I highly recommend making a reservation in advance.
The sunday roast at the mixer is absolutely fabulous. really generous portions and everything cooked to perfection. I'm really glad they continue to do with the roast for those who can't get out.
