I absolutely adore the staff and regulars at this restaurant. They are so friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is lovely. The price per person is typically £10-20, and the food, service, and atmosphere all receive a top rating of 5. I highly recommend trying the Fish and Chips.

We were very impressed that they fitted us in even though they were so busy. They were so helpful to our mum who has mobility issues. Nothing was a trouble and they were happy to accommodate us. Everyone had a smile and a very pleasant attitude. My sister is a trained chief and she was very impressed with the food. Food: 5 Service: 5

Great food, wonderful atmosphere, excellent and friendly service from Yvonne in particular. We visit friends in the area roughly 4 times a year and look forward to visiting the Old Chestnut on our visits. It never fails to deliver a quality meal.

Had the room upstairs for 10 people which was nice, they need more staff as very long wait to get a drink when we arrived and took ages for the table to be cleared, the young guy may be new so hopefully service will improve, food good
