The bartenders are polite and kind, drink prices are very reasonable, hourly rate for pool table is great. They don’t charge per person, they just charge per table. Rate changes depending time and day of the week. We like their pool tables. The only complaint I have is how congested I feel after hanging out at Baluka. I believe they don’t dust/clean their pool tables regularly or their windows on the inside so all the cue chalk can be seen accumulated on the edges of their tables and windows. But that doesn’t take away the five stars I give them.
For as big and popular the place is both sticks we got were wobbly and warped, no excuse for that. The jukebox eats your money and doesn't play what I picked 3 times and even talked to bar tender about helping me out just get 1 single song played, more about the principle of my money being taken and getting nothing than the song. Also 1 bar tender on Friday night, not practical imo.
This is a nice billiards hall. It’s cheaper than other pool halls in the area. It’s clearly an older establishment. It was mostly clean. The restrooms were dated and mostly clean. It costs $6 an hour to play pool, and it’s one price for all the people at the table. I’ll definitely return here in the future.
Herd to understand if this is a bar or pool room. Takes a long time to get the attention or bartenders, while playing pool you are paying to wait. The customers sit on the tables at times ruining the cushions. Air filters for A/C have not been changed in years, they are full of blue chalk just like the air inside.
The best place to hangout with friends and family I love the bar and the workers
