Dawson's on Main - United States

Was recommended by our tour guide Bob at the Motor Speedway Tours. Was not disappointed. Just a down home type of place. We were seated right away, outside. The burger was cooked perfectly the fries were delicious. Light and crispy with some seasoning. We are just visiting IN but will be going back before we leave.

First time visit. Awesome food and awesome service.

Once again my wife and I had a great meal at Dawson’s On Main. She had the sea bass dinner special, I had the salmon entree, we shared a grouper “finger” appetizer, and for dessert a slice of carrot cake. It’s delicious food prepared well, you’ll get a good amount of food for the price, and the wine prices won’t break the bank. We sat in the bar and even though the bartenders look like tough hombres, they’re actually very friendly, knowledgeable about the food, and helpful with suggestions. Stop on in but get reservations a few days ahead or you’ll be eating later in the evening like we did. But be sure to stop in for a place with great food and a neighborhood vibe.

My girlfriend and I have made this our normal date spot but our waitress Kelsi this past time really provided excellent service. 10 stars if possible.

Best breaded tenderloin in Indiana, my opinion, but really, really good. Great service.
