We called to make a reservation and we were told we could just walk in, on a Friday night at 5:00 PM. My spouse and I were both surprised as Friday nights are typically super busy restaurant nights. The phone call was handled oddly. The phone rang and rang, fine, no problem, busy restaurant, and my husband got to someone who asked how he/she/they could help, and he said he wanted to make a reservation, and he was told, oh, that's the same question the other customer had, and was asked if he could be put on hold. He said sure, and then when he/she/they returned, that's when were told we could just walk in. I just think the being put on hold part could have been skipped. It was true. We pulled up and walked in. There was only one customer before us, in the waiting area, and it looked like there were many open tables. We chose to dine at the bar since it was slightly faster than waiting for a table. Our server was very friendly, but forgot my hubby's beer and brought it out after we received our appetizer. We ordered spicy hot wings and got them plain, so we asked for the spicy sauce on the side. I love a good salad, but after I read my last review, it was de ja vu. I ordered the new Strawberry Salad, and it came out with NO pecans and a miserly amount of cheese. I requested the pecans and more cheese, and I got a small amount of both sent over to me. I took photos of my salad with before and after pictures so you can see the difference it makes in presentation, and yes, in taste. The chicken was tasty. The dressing was very good. The salad came with spring greens or wild greens which are long strips of lettuce, and very pretty to look at, but could be easier to eat if chopped down a bit. My spouse's steak was not particularly exciting, and his baked potato was ho hum. My spouse's steak and chicken was served on a giant plate(our server explained there was some problems in the dishwashing area) and the meats and potato just appeared to be rolling around, lost in space. The plate was not served with any greenery or attempt at presentation, as far was we could see. However, seated next to us were two businessmen (they were talking about business, that's how I know) who raved about the steak and potato they were served. We could not figure it out except maybe since this is a typical American meal steak and potatoes vs. much of the Hawaiian/Asian/localized fare, it may be something familiar and comforting to them. Maybe it was appropriately sized plate they had lol. My husband and I both were not feeling the love for our experience at Outback that night. It could have been just an off night for everyone. I am not certain we will return anytime soon.
Outback dinners are always so much fun. It was a Tuesday one of those spur of the moment kind of nights. So I'm happy Outback was very accommodating with getting us seated fast even for a party of six. We were also excited to be seated with Katey as our server. It's always nice to see a familiar face from previous visits. Plus she's just very nice knowledgeable with the menu. Menu wise, I love when they bring back the Gingerbread cookie martini. It's like buying a martini getting a cookie dessert for free. Plus gingerbread cookies just happen to be one of my favorites. So I'd be willing to sign a petition to put this drink on the menu permanently. Just to help spread the holiday cheer year round. The blooming onion is also always a must order. I've seriously been in love with this appetizer since I was a kid. So if you guys ever want to host a couples cooking night. I'd love to learn your Outback ways. Overall it was just an awesome night spent with family friends. The good food, drinks service was the cherry on top. Thanks again! Xoxo ChelsieFletcher

Girl said she would take $2.00 out of her tip or give me extra vegetables Very sarcastically !,when my salmon came with two sides!Does this look like it worth $25 to you? If I could give no stars I would never go back there again
So many things wrong with this place. But let's just start with how dirty it actually is. The view I had of the kitchen was beyond filthy. Secondly the hassle of placing an order was pathetic. And once that fiasco ended the food I was presented with I wouldn't feed my dog. I ordered 3 sides and was charged 19. change. The mash potatoes were murky grey, the Mac and cheese I have never seen such slop plopped on top of pasta. I also specifically asked for no salt on asparagus (I have a canker sores on the roof of my mouth which makes it very painful to swallow) of course it was drenched in salt. I threw the entire mess into the garbage and ended up having ice cream for dinner. One of Most unpleasant restaurant experiences ever. This chain should be ashamed. Disgusting! Have a look at the **** I was served for 20 bux, less the asparagus, which I threw out immediately after barely tasting.
