Yama Fuji - United States

Stopped for a quick bite. Ordered the calamari. Got fried pencil erasers. Told the lady at the front and she told me that's how they cook it. Not worth the disappointment. UPDATE: the owners have replied and their response seems pretty sincere so, that being said. If you like your calamari to taste like rubber from a pencil eraser this is the place for you. Also to the owners. Please note on your menu for those of us that aren't aware of you're establishments special technique of preparing and serving overcooked food so that we know not to order it. In the description use words like extra chewy and or squashy. Then us outsiders/unknowing patrons can not waste our time. Thank you

I took my daughter and her friend to Yami Fuji to celebrate her birthday. This was our first experience with Hibatchi style dinner. It was great! It was so fun watching the chef cook at the table. The food was delicious and the service was friendly. They even had a special birthday treat and song!! The bonus surprise- they gave me a cute Mother’s Day gift (see pic below) -totally unexpected. I highly recommend for a fun night out !

Nice sushi and hibachi spot. Have only ever got sushi here. Service is fine. The sushi is really tasty and i would definitely come back. Restrooms are clean but when you enter the lobby type area smells like foot. Besides that we had a pleasant experience and I will definitely be returning when I crave sushi again.

My family has been going to Yama Fuji for years now (since 2016, at least). We really enjoy the sushi. Our daughter LOVES the sweet and sour chicken. And we have been there for Hibachi, which we all really enjoy. The service is always helpful and attentive. We have eaten in the restaurant, gotten takeout and delivery. Yama Fuji is really consistent for they flavor and service. We go probably 1 or 2 times a month.
