Smashburger - Universal City

Beautiful clean atmosphere, great customer service, well-informed employees and especially DELICIOUS BURGERS. I had the truffle mushroom dicks. Definitely give Umami Burger a run for her money, for less.

The experience was quite good. The food was decent, and the desserts were outstanding. It was a bit pricey, but overall, it's a fantastic place to dine.

The burger was excellent and reasonably priced. However, the only issue was the fries; they seemed to lack quality.

This restaurant is located in the food area of Universal City Walk and is similar to other Smashburger locations, with a few notable exceptions. First, they don't offer a crispy chicken sandwich option, which is puzzling. Additionally, even when you dine in, your food is packed to go, which feels a bit unnecessary. It would be nicer if they provided paper plates for those who choose to eat on-site.

I really enjoyed the Smashfries, those alone were four stars. The burger was fine, nothing exceptional, and a little over sauced. The people behind the counter was nice. I paid 14 dollars for a burger and the fries, not terrible for City Walk, but Karl Strauss is a better option if you're willing to sit down.
