Taco Guadalajara - Universal City

I usually visit this restaurant about twice a week, sometimes even more often when I’m in a rush and need a quick breakfast. As a vegan, the only dish I can order is the Papas Rancheros, and they are absolutely incredible. While they don’t always taste the same, the variation is a nice surprise. I really appreciate supporting local mom-and-pop shops, and this place is a perfect example. I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for something fast and delicious.

This restaurant is truly outstanding! The owner took over a few years ago and is always present to ensure that customers receive great service. The food is delicious and consistently prepared to perfection! While there are many Mexican restaurants on Pat Booker, the warm, homey atmosphere sets this one apart from the others.

I visited this restaurant for the first time yesterday and ordered the Migas Breakfast Plate. You might be wondering if it was any good, and the answer is absolutely! I have a soft spot for places that are a bit off the beaten path; they often turn out to be hidden gems. I prefer not to order online since they partner with GrubHub, which takes about a 15% commission on sales. I want to support small businesses like this one, and I can't wait for them to open again today so I can try some of their other dishes!

Delicious chilaquiles made with anjo chile and topped with queso fresco. Really good with eggs over easy or medium. Be prepared to wait a little bit as everything is made fresh to order. Update: The restaurant was sold several weeks ago and has now reopened under new management.
