The Banh Mi Shop - University City

I finally visited this restaurant after reading about it in Feast magazine. I ordered the grilled pork, but my friends got the lemongrass chicken and BBQ pork bauch sandwiches. Those are the two sandwiches to get! Don't get me wrong, mine was fresh and delicious, but theirs were even better. I can't wait to go back and try more. The owner was super friendly and fun to talk to.

I consider the banh mi shop my go-to spot for spring rolls. Their BBQ pork spring rolls are extremely tasty. I've sampled other items on the menu, but I keep returning for these in particular. The service is always quick and friendly, and the food is freshly made to order.

The first time, bahn mi sandwich. the writer was kind and greeted me when I came in. I had the bbq pork path mi and although it was a bit spicy it was not overrun. the total sandwich was good. the only negatiw is the meat-bread ratio was off. they must put more meat on it.

Delicious. Maybe a little pricey for quantity but super fresh and tasty. Had a Bun but also got a baguette. The beef is great, so are the spring rolls.
