Gasthaus zur Post - Unterhaching

Came here pretty late to grab a bite to eat and their kitchen was closed so they offered us what two dish was still available. The portion was nice and big...

Pretty average Bavarian dishes. The highlights from the menu were sold out pretty early, though. Reasonable prices; all in all okay place.

Great service, english speaking and friendly staff, good food...we came in a group of 18 people without reservation, and we were welcomed and served without any troubles

We dropped by the Post on Saturday night at 6:15 and sat under a canopy of Chestnut trees. Service was prompt and all business. Our waiter provided menus in English when we asked for them. The food and rink was excellent. We all had different dishes and everyone of us was well pleased with the portion size and the quality of the meals. We shared a lot and the variety of flavours was excellent. Two thumbs up!

I saw several reviews of this restaurant and I must say the negative ones do not seem to be fair. The service is friendly and at a reasonable pace. It is true Bavarian fare and is frequented quite heavily by locals. I would eat here again.
