It was excellent. the personal was friendly. that was delicious. the wine, the spirits and the tasting of the brand are at a very reasonable price. large selection of wines.

Orange River Wine Cellars is strategically located enroute to Gauteng and the friendly staff ensure that visitors feel immediately welcome, comfortable and relaxed. The service is excellent and customers are bound to stop again on the way home trip. The Cellars is a true advertisement for the Dawid Kruiper municipality and the Northern Cape .

Visited Orange River Cellars on our visit to Upington in mid-December 2021. The wines were good but the tasting itself had much to be improved. The staff could not provide us with any tasting notes and did not seem very interested. Furthermore, there were no prices on anything which was quite frustrating. They sell a lot of wines/brandies/gins from other places but it is not clear which is theirs and which ones are from else where. A lot of room for improvement

Beautiful restaurant with very pathetic service. We waited 20 mins after being seated before a waiter came to take our order. We waited another 50 minutes just for a simple wine and brandy tasting order. After complaining, the manager came to the rescue and luckily had our order delivered within 5minutes. The waiter was not very friendly and did not seem to have any customer service skills. Not very impressed.
