California Fish Grill - Upland

I am new to this place, my daughters usually order for me. 1-I forgot to order drink and they didn't remind me. 2. Where to get more napkins? you gave me 2 very thin napkins. 3. Went back for lemons. 4. Went back for salt pepper.

We came in on a Saturday, around noon. The place is clean and the staff is very welcoming and helpful. We ordered their Mahi mahi plate. You get a choice of your protein, sauce, and 2 sides. We chose the garlic butter sauce, the sides of rice, and rosemary zucchini. The mahi mahi was perfectly grilled. They give you 3 fairly thin portions. Rice and vegetables were also cooked to perfection. Overall we were pleased with our meal. The meals are fairly priced.

I can appreciate the consoles to make your orders, but I really feel like staff needs to step up when they see somebody who’s not quite understanding how to use the console and place their order for them.

Fish and chips was crisp and very tasty! Loved the Lime-cilantro slaw!! The Rosemary zucchini was also a nice flavor combination. Service was a bit slow, but no other complaints. Would definitely return.
