Curry Land - Upper Hutt

The restaurant we wanted to try tonight was closed on Mondays, but we were pleasantly surprised to discover a new favorite for curry! The young man out front was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the food was fantastic. We really enjoyed our meal!

We visit Curry Land whenever we're in Wellington (Upper Hutt). We've been enjoying their food for many years and it never disappoints. While it's not a fancy restaurant, the food is delicious and served in generous portions. We've tried their vegetarian and meat dishes, as well as some Indo-Chinese options, and everything has been fantastic. Today, their channa masala with bhatura was especially delicious. They also had a steady stream of takeaway orders, which shows how popular they are in the area. Despite the busy atmosphere, the staff was very attentive and provided great service.

Best curry spot in wellington region, I never had a better curry anywhere else. where is the 6/5 stars option? Honestly, I have been here for years, but also in many other curry joints in wellington. these young are still my favorite by far!

Fantastic! The butter chicken here is absolutely delicious—I prefer it slightly sweet rather than overly tomato-based, and they've nailed it perfectly. The Tandoori chicken and lamb korma were also excellent, along with a variety of breads. We opted for takeout, but the restaurant had a lovely atmosphere, and we would definitely consider dining in next time. The staff was friendly as well. Highly recommended!
