Caribbean Flavor - UPPER MARLBORO

The dining experience was excellent! The flavors of authentic Jamaican spices really stood out. I ordered the Veggie Roti without onions, the cocob red, and a garden salad also without onions. There was a bit of a wait, and they were out of a few menu items. I was particularly looking forward to having Irish Moss, as I haven't had it in a while. Because of these two issues, I deducted a star from the rating. Overall, though, everything else was fantastic. The decor was clean and inviting, and the bathroom was well-maintained, as you can see in the pictures. The owner was friendly, and I always like to support black-owned businesses.

I absolutely adore this restaurant. It's a cozy little spot, but the food and service are exceptional. We enjoyed the Ruck chicken, rice and peas, spinach, and finished off with carrot cake for dessert. Each dish was cooked to perfection and delicious. We keep coming back for more. Plus, the prices are very reasonable. I really appreciate this place!

This isn’t a place you visit for the ambiance; you come here for the food! I ordered the curry chicken with herbs, and both dishes were perfectly seasoned, especially if you enjoy a bit of spice. The chicken was tender and juicy, while the vegetables had just the right amount of firmness—not too hard or soggy. We were the last customers of the day, so we weren’t sure if we’d get freshly made food, but we did! I highly recommend giving it a try.
